For the moments when...

You're exhausted. But your body can't relax.

That's an unfinished stress cycle.

You tried meditation. But your mind just sped up.

The body can't relax on command.

You want to slow down. But you just feel overstimulated.

Your body is still running the threat.

You look fine. But your body still feels tense.

Even when nothing is wrong.

You rest. But you never actually feel recovered.

That gap is what breathwork closes.

The reframe

You cannot think your way out of survival mode.

What you've already tried

Rest more.

Meditate.

Think it through.

Your body stays on anyway.

The body-first approach

Use your breath to help your body shift.

Breath is the fastest direct input to your nervous system — no thinking required.

Your shoulders drop. Your chest opens.

Most breathwork apps teach you to relax. Phoenix Breath trains your body to complete the stress cycle.

The experience

One guided journey. Three phases.

No menus. No guesswork. Just one path forward.

Guided by Ember, a calm steady voice that helps you follow without overthinking.

Ember guides the pace

Arrive, release, integrate. One calm path from first breath to after the session.

  1. Person settling in by a window, preparing for breathwork

    Phase 01

    Arrive

Arrive as you are. Settle in and let your system start to downshift.

Your mind gets quieter. Your body begins to soften.

  2. Deep exhale during guided breathwork release phase

    Phase 02

    Release

Follow the breath into deeper release. Steady pacing helps tension move, instead of staying held. You can slow down, pause, or stop at any time.

Your chest opens. Your shoulders drop.

  3. Person seated in sunlight during post-breathwork integration

    Phase 03

    Integrate

Let the shift land. A gentler downshift gives your body time to absorb it, so the release stays with you after the session ends.

You feel lighter. Clearer. More back in your body.

Why breathwork

Most stress tools make you choose between simple and effective.

Phoenix Breath gives you both.

The easy way · Apps

Hundreds of sessions. No clear place to start.

  • Large libraries with endless options
  • No guidance on where to start
  • Easy to open, harder to actually begin

But when your body is already overwhelmed, more choices can feel like more pressure.

Breathing app interface with many session options

The deep way · In-person

Powerful, but harder to access.

  • Deep emotional intensity
  • Experienced live facilitators
  • Shared energy and group support

But they often require more time, money, and scheduling than everyday life allows.

Group breathwork session in a shared studio

The third way · Phoenix Breath

Private enough for real life. Deep enough to matter.

  • One guided path for when your body will not calm down
  • A pace your body can follow
  • Private, at home, on your own time
  • Structured for real release, not just temporary calm
A private breathwork session at home

Phoenix Breath was built for the middle: real depth, without the friction.

  • Private
  • Guided
  • Real depth without the friction

Is this for you

This is built for a very specific kind of stress.

If this sounds like you, Phoenix Breath will likely feel different.

It's for you if…

  • You're high-functioning, but running on empty
  • You've tried to relax, but your body stays tense
  • You carry stress or anxiety that never fully releases
  • You want guidance, not more thinking
  • You want to feel a shift, not just understand the problem

It may not be a fit if…

  • You're in active crisis or feel unsafe
  • You expect instant, permanent change from one session
  • You strongly prefer silent or self-guided practices
  • You're only looking for insight, not a body-based experience

Founder note

A note from the founder

Why Phoenix Breath exists

Sorosh Ahmadi, founder of Phoenix Breath

Twelve years ago I heard about breathwork. I knew I needed it, but I couldn't afford it, so I pushed the stress down and kept going. For years, I functioned on the outside but my nervous system was stuck in fight-or-flight. Therapy helped me understand myself, but my body still held the tension.

When I finally tried breathwork, it was the first thing that helped my body let go. I couldn't stop thinking: if I'd had access to this back then, my path might have looked very different.

So I received trauma-informed training and built Phoenix Breath. One calm, guided journey you can do in private, with choice at every step. No one should have to wait a decade for relief because they can't afford it or don't know where to start.

How much does Phoenix Breath cost?

Phoenix Breath costs $79 one-time during founders pricing for the first 1,000 customers. That includes lifetime access with no subscription. After the founders offer, the price increases to $129.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is guided breathing used to change how your nervous system responds to stress. Phoenix Breath uses breathwork to help your body complete the stress cycle, so it can move out of a wired, guarded state. It is body-first regulation, not meditation, talk therapy, or a collection of relaxation tricks.

Is Phoenix Breath good for people who cannot relax?

Yes, Phoenix Breath is designed for people who cannot relax even when nothing is wrong. When the body is stuck in a stress response, rest and positive thinking often do not reach the system that is still on guard. Phoenix Breath works through the body first, so relaxation does not have to be forced.

Is it safe for everyone?

Not for everyone. If you have certain cardiovascular, respiratory, or psychiatric conditions, check the Safety & Health Considerations or speak with a healthcare provider first.

Do I need breathwork experience?

No. You'll be guided step by step. Start shorter and go deeper over time. No prior experience needed.

How intense is it?

Yes, it can feel intense. That's part of the release. Most people notice tingling or emotional waves early in the session. This is normal and safe. You can pause, slow down, or stop at any time. You stay in control throughout.

How soon will I feel a difference from breathwork?

Many people feel a difference during the first guided session, especially if they carry chronic stress or feel wired but tired. Early shifts can feel like tingling, emotional release, deeper breathing, or a clearer sense of calm afterward. Phoenix Breath is built as a repeated path, so the nervous system learns through practice, not one perfect session.

How long are sessions?

Sessions range from 10 to 90 minutes. Choose based on your time and intention.

What makes this different from other breathwork apps?

Phoenix Breath is not a library of sessions. It's one guided path designed to help your body fully come down. No choosing, no guessing, no switching between techniques. You don't manage stress. You move through it.

How is Phoenix Breath different from the Wim Hof Method?

Phoenix Breath is different from the Wim Hof Method because it is designed for nervous system downshifting, not performance, cold exposure, or breath holds. The Wim Hof Method combines forceful breathing, retention, and cold training. Phoenix Breath uses one guided session path to help the body release stress and come down safely.

Why Phoenix Breath instead of in-person breathwork?

In-person breathwork can be powerful, but it requires scheduling around events, travel and logistics, vulnerability in front of strangers, and high cost per session ($50–200). Phoenix Breath is designed to offer a deeper guided release experience at home, without the barriers of scheduling, travel, group settings, or high per-session cost.

Is this therapy?

No. Phoenix Breath is a guided wellness experience, not therapy or medical treatment. If you feel unsafe or are in crisis, seek immediate support.

What do I need to get started?

Headphones, a quiet space, and time to lie down. A warm blanket is optional.
